Swedish Fashion Now – Paris

Swedish Fashion Now is a global brand platform launched during Paris Fashion Week S/S18 at the Institut suédois in Marais, from 27 September to 2 October. The showcase works to promote and enhance Swedish fashion design creativity and aesthetics to a global audience. The exhibition welcomes editors, stylists, influencers and buyers to experience the SS18 collections from some of Sweden’s most progressive brands. Participating brands was; ATP Atelier, BACK, Cornelia Webb, Diana Orving, HOPE, House of Dagmar, Little Liffner and Sunbuddies by Très Bien.

Award winning architecture firm White Arkitekter, sound is provided by Urbanears, lighting by Wästberg and furnishings by Massproductions and Ogeborg. Steamery is on site and will help the brands present their collections in the best possible way. UPS is our transport partner for the brands’ collections Air France travle partner. Pernod Richard will be serving Perrier-Jouët champagne during the days. The project has entailed a generous collaboration of several partners and sponsors that we are extremely grateful to.  A special thanks to Visit Sweden, the Swedish Institute Paris, Studio Bon, Patriksson Communication, BES,  Anna Sennö, OFR Bookshop and Beckmans College of Design. Swedish Fashion Now opened during the evening of Wednesday the 27th of September with a party in the garden of the Institut suédois, together with the release of Bon Magazine AW17 issue. Diana Orving staged a performance, VR installation – Virtual Project by HAAL was shown in the showroom, a presentation of Beckmans College of Design alumni with Hermon Mehari. DJs – Chris M (Music for Tourist), Nils Schèle (Junior Executive) and DJ Sundae (Idle Press). The evening continued at neighboring waterhole La Perle.

Swedish Fashion Now is a project initiated by ASFB, the Swedish Institute of Paris and Visit Sweden, part of Swedish Design Moves, a four-year program promoting Swedish architecture, design and fashion around the world.
